Our Story - How Momentum Tire and Wheel Got Its Start

Zach Silver and Ian Campbell pride themselves on being tire experts - with their sole focus being to deliver the absolute best tire buying experience to every customer. Prior to starting Momentum Tire and Wheel, both worked together as Director's of Sales at a large regional tire wholesaler.

In their time in wholesale, they observed thousands of retailers in the Northeast. From these observations, they generated the concept for Momentum, essentially taking the best that each retailer had to offer and combining all the best elements. Momentum is all about speed, convenience, superior customer service, and turning what is usually an unpleasant experience (buying tires) into something customers enjoy.

To innovate even further, Momentum Tire and Wheel offers a mobile tire installation option. The idea of a "tire shop on wheels" is popular in many other countries but has yet to be widely offered in the US. Noticing the trend in convenience based business and the increasing value that time has in the current marketplace - this service fills a gap for this type of service in the tire business. Now customers in Bergen, Essex, Passaic, and Morris County can experience exceptional convenience and customer service all without ever having to go to a physical tire shop.
